phenomenon strange and I have not broken that line of thought at all. Each time I receive an invitation from someone, I ask myself why the person had unfriended me in the first place. Then I accept the request and move on, in line with my Facebook policy.
But recently, I have received notifications telling me of hackers who go round impersonating my friends and I am worried accepting new friend requests from people who were already friends with me on Facebook. However, this is why someone may think befriending you on Facebook is shit!
- YOU ARE NOT INTERESTING: Facebook is a very good tool for socialising. Sometimes, many people get here to talk about things and to make friendships, repair bonds and maintain broken ones. Sometimes, however, people don’t have the same like of discussion. While one likes soccer, the other likes girls, and the other, God. And when this goes on for a long time the likelihood is for someone to think you are shit!
- YOU POST ABOUT CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES: Topics that raise negative sentiments about race, religion, gender etc. cause some people to move away from you. They do not want to associate with “people like that” because your activities may actually constantly remind them of things they should have loved to forget. So is your friendship not shit? I must say that controversial topics also bring out people from their quiet, NB.
- YOU DON’T GIVE WHAT THEY WANT: Facebook is a big market where people scout for marriage partners, sex partners, scam victims etc. some people come to the site with specific objectives and when you don’t measure up, well you are a piece of shit, SIMPLE!
- THEY HAVE TRAVELLED ABROAD: Africa is generally regarded as a poor continent and the residents of this continent share the view, at least partially hihihihihihihihi. So when some people go to America or Britain or France or some other developed countries, they systemically begin to weed out those who chat purposely to “beg for money”. So if you ask for money too much, why not, your friendship is really shit!
