Format Your Work, Write your Chapters

The major titles should be in capital letters, centred and the chapter number should come first, be in words, not numbers e.g.

CHAPTER THREE

SOCIAL LIFE

1. The numbering should be in Arabic numerals (1,2,3,4,5)
2. Numbering should be done at the bottom of the page
3. Subtitles should be at the left hand of the page numbered in Arabic numerals. e.g.

         3.1 Life in the Cite
         3.1.1 Life with my Neighbours

1. Note that major words are capitalised while function words are not
2. Note that the first digits give the chapter number and the second gives that of the subsection

Formatting

1. The font size is usually 12,
2. Font type is Times New Romans
3. Font Colour is Black
4. Page colour is white
5. Cover page colour is cream white
